Here is my pattern for a pokeball keyring! It's quick and easy to make and great for anyone who loves pokemon.
Materials:
Red, White and black paintbox dk cotton - find it here
Keyring - I used these from amazon
Scissors
Needle
Fibre filling
3.5mm hook
2.5mm hook
Instructions:
Begin with white yarn
1. Make a magic circle, 6sc into ring.
2. inc x 6 (12sc)
3. (sc, inc) x6 (18sc)
4. (sc x2, inc) x6 (24sc)
5. sc, inc (sc x3, inc) x5, scx2 (30sc)
6 - 7. Sc around (2 rounds, 30sc).
FO white yarn, attach black yarn.
8 - 9. Sc around (2 rounds, 30 sc).
FO black yarn, attach red yarn
10 - 11. Sc around (2 rounds, 30sc)
12. (sc x3, dec) x 6 (24sc)
13. (sc x 2, dec) x6 (18sc)
Stuff the pokeball
14. (sc, dec) x 6 (12sc)
15. dec x 6 (6sc).
FO
Weave yarn through front loops of last 6sc and pull tight to close. Use this yarn to attach keyring to where the pokeball is closed. Loop it over one the chains in the keyring a couple of times, then hide the tail in the pokeball.
Circle:
Using 2.5mm hook and white yarn, start with a magic circle.
1. 6sc into magic ring. Slst to end round, change to black.
2. 6sc, slst to first stitch. FO.
Stitch onto centre of pokeball with the centre on the black rows.. To make it look neater, sew over the colour changes.
