SC = single crochet

Inc = 2 Single crochet in next stitch
Dec = 1 single crochet across next 2 stitches
HDC = Half double crochet
DC = Double Crochet
BLO = Back loop only
FLO = Front loop only.
Pattern:
Round 1: Start with a Magic Ring, 6SC into ring. Slst to finish round and chain 1
2: BLO scx6. Slst, ch1
3. FLO scx6. From now on, you will be working in continuous rounds so you do not need to slst or chain at the end of a row. Use a stitch marker to mark the start of each round.
4. Inc x6 (12sc)
5. (sc, inc) x 6, (18sc)
6. (sc x 2, inc) x 6 (24sc)
7. (Sc x 3, inc) x6 (30sc)
8. (Sc x 4, inc) x 6 (36sc)
9. 36sc
10. sc x 3, FLO (Hdc, dc) into next stitch, FLO (DC, HDC) into next stitch). In both loops, sc x 4. FLO (HDC, DC) into next stitch, FLO (DC, HDC) into next stitch. In both loops, sc to end. We have now made the ears of the pig. In the next row, you will skip the hdc and dc used to make the ears and use the unused back loops instead. You may decide to put stitch markers on the back loops to make it easier to find them for the next row.
11. Sc x 3, Sc in the unused back loops of round 9 x 2. Do not work into the hdc and dc's of the previous round. Sc x 4, Sc in the unused back loops x 2. Sc to the end. (36sc)
12. (sc x 4 dec) x 6 (30sc) - If using safety eyes, insert them between rows 6 and 7, about 3-4 stitches between them.
13. (sc x 3 dec) x 6 (24sc)
14. (sc x 2, dec) x 6 (18sc) - Stuff as you begin the close the pig.
15. (sc, dec) x 6 (12sc)
16. Dec x 6 (6sc). Cut tail and FO. Tie in ends Attach keyring between the ears.
Use some black yarn to embroider two lines on the snout and a mouth.
Tail - Insert hook in round 16 and attach yarn. Chain 5. 2sc in 2nd chain from hook, 3sc in rest of the chains. Slst back to round 16, FO and tie in ends.
